Unlike Google, your ads are only based on price. The ads are the same for 3-5 as the very bottom under the results. Don’t create your Overture account and then leave it. Basically, I use Google for the “Main Industry Keywords”, i.e. This means you can add the price of your product, etc. I have found that I get very similar amounts of traffic from each for the most part, but the type of traffic is very different. Take the time and do this right. Usually more expensive, especially for the top keywords, and also the starting cost (10c rather than 5c for AdWords). Be creative! Are you giving away a prize? This give you incentive to find LOTS of keywords and customize ads for each one.Overture Disadvantages1. Yahoo’s Engine BOLDS your keyword to make it stand out. No “discount”. Make Overture ads for Specials you are running on a product. Unlike Google, Overture is based 100% on how much you are willing to spend. Use the Keyword that the add is for in EVERY AD. You have to do more research to get bargins and keep overall costs low. 2. You should go in at least once a week and make sure you are still in the position you want to be.
